Ruby is a dynamic, reflective, object-oriented, general-purpose programming language. MAMP PRO installs Ruby in your “C:\MAMP\bin\ruby\bin” directory.

Make Ruby directly available on the command line
Check this option to make the current Ruby version available on the command line. When this checkbox is checked Ruby will be added to your system path. You can verify this by checking your System PATH in Advanced System Settings > Environment Variables > System Variables.'Path = C:\MAMP\bin\ruby\bin;'
